I have been a musical person my whole life. When I was very little and very into the music my mom played for me growing up, I decided I wanted to be a rockstar and play guitar. And though my rockstar dream hasn’t quite taken off yet, I’ve learned how to play the guitar, and a wealth of other instruments along the way.
The first instrument I learned was violin, starting out in the elementary school orchestra. Since then, I’ve expanded my repertoire to guitar, piano, ukulele, and even a little bass guitar. And over the course of the years, I’ve had a number of wonderful teachers who helped me stick through the hard times and grow with my love of music.
I was very lucky to have the opportunity to work with the teachers I’ve had. They may have had different teaching methods, but all of them expressed a love for playing music that I wanted to emulate. Whether it was my orchestra teachers or my private instructors, they all imparted lessons on me that I will hold dear to my heart. And they not only fostered a love of music, but a love of teaching music that drives me forward every day.
So I want to provide those kinds of lessons for students just discovering their interest in music. It’s my goal to help as many students as possible develop their love of playing music, and to work hard for their dreams. It will be my honor to help your students get a few steps closer to achieving their goals. I’m looking forward to the opportunity to work with you.
