About Me

I’m a proud 4th generation musician with decades of professional experience and composition degrees from Columbia and Berklee College of Music. I’ve helped countless on their musical journey from complete beginners to experienced musicians.  I am a musical chameleon who is fluent in challenging and diverse styles from the Middle Ages to present contemporary music production.

Areas of Instruction

Whether you’re a new music student, emerging or well-established musician looking to explore songwriting, writing for duets, chamber ensembles, vocal soloists, full choirs, film score or a full symphony orchestra, I’m the teacher for you!  Are you also looking to experiment with hybrid electronic elements for film scoring, games, or visual media? Simply want to create a cool song and need how to make all the parts fit? I can help with that too! I will be your all-in-one mentor helping you realize YOUR goals in any genre(s) of your interest!! And if you need to build up good vocal technique, understanding of music theory, ear training and learning to sing from sheet music, I can provide lessons in those areas as well! 🙂

My primary creation tools of choice are Cubase and Sibelius, but the techniques used for these tools will be similar for most major production software available.

Let’s have fun developing your full creative potential!
