I have over 10 years of experience playing guitar, 3 years teaching guitar, ukulele, and music, and several years of performing and recording history.

I am a graduate of Hunter College CUNY with a BA in music. I have a very effective approach for teaching music and many of my students had zero background in guitar and music. I am primarily a Jazz guitarist but I have taught and performed various genres of guitar including slide guitar. After the first few lessons, my students can read and play music written for guitar. I have an extensive background in music theory (my favorite) and my advanced students get to take advantage of this.

I have recorded and performed in various venues in NYC and teach my students to be able to do the same thing. Ask me about a trial lesson.
