Thomas Adam Barnett is a composer and pianist who recently earned his Bachelor’s from USC Thornton. He took to music at an early age in rural Texas where developed a talent for the guitar, and later began playing the piano. Since then he has been taught by Dr. Brian Allison, Dr. Stephen Pierce, and Sheila Paige specializing in the Taubman Approach. As a teacher, he has transferred that knowledge to classrooms with sizes ranging from 10 to 40 students grades 3-10 to individual students aged 4-73. In addition, he maintains a private studio where he teaches piano and production. He has had works performed members of the New York Philharmonic, Dallas Symphony Orchestra, and the Thornton Symphony Orchestra and has worked/studied under composers Frank Ticheli, Lorne Balfe, and Hans Zimmer.
